My Audry Hepburn Bride!

I LOVE wedding and Michele and Brian's wedding was an exceptional day! Michele is one of the coolest ladies I have met and she certainly knows how to throw a party! They are an amazing couple and Michele photographs SOOOO well! Both she and her maid of honor are part of the crew at Miller's Christmas Store here in Brownwood! Sweet Baby Girl E!

Sometimes, when your doing a session, the stars align, the fates inspire and all things are right with the world. That describes this session! Sweet Baby E was soooooooo cute! We got amazing portraits for this little 3 week old! Her parents were fantastic to work with! Especially since I had just had surgery a week prior to this session! I think they took care of me more than I took care of them! I can't wait for her 3 month session!

I have know Amber and her family for a while now and was so thrilled to do Baby E's first session! It was great fun, and big brother is amazing in front ot the camera! Total trooper too, when Baby E "christened" both of us right after this shot!

Hard Rock Family!

Okay, so I really am bad at blogging! I usually post sneak peaks to Facebook, but get side tracked in putting them here! BUT I am going to get caught up today!

This is a session from a few months ago, but Lysa and her family were a riot! Lysa has such a great spirit and teared up when she saw her family in portraits! She works with Renea, my sister in law, and Renea should have warned her! I firmly believe that I'm not doing my job if someone doesn't cry or go AWEEEEEEEE ! (I make Renea cry all the time with portraits of her son's:)

Meet Ty and Jackie! They are transplants from the DFW area and are teachers and coaches at Brownwood High School! I met them when they moved here, and we hit it off great! Their session was so great, we even did pics on the Brownwood Lions football field! I can't wait for the wedding this summer!

Back again with another session! This is Kendall and she absolutely ROCKS! Her session lasted over 3 hours because we were having so much fun! She was great to work with and was up for trying anything!

My Best Friends Kids!

Okay, so I realized the other day that it had been July since I last updated the Heather Nix Photography blog! Shame on me, because I have so many great sessions! So I'm going to start my blogging marathon with Taylor and Logan. They are the children of my very best friend in the whole world, Kristi! She and I have been friends since we were her daughters age. I went to their home in Abilene Kansas for a vacation to see them, so we of course had to do portraits in a wheat field!
